Fast Food Burgers: Triple is the New Double

From Flickr by VirtualErn

As if hamburgers weren’t unhealthy enough (“pink slime” anyone?) Burger King ‘s Triple Whopper with Cheese is THREE hamburgers in one! A sesame seed bun is stuffed with three patties, 1,230 calories, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, onions,  mayonnaise, pickles, 225 milligrams of cholesterol, 1550 milligrams of sodium and some trans fat. Yummy!

Burger King says on their website, “It’s once, twice, three times the tasty, and it’s waiting for you at BURGER KING®.” but we think it’s more like once, twice, three times the heart attack waiting to happen.

I love the Triple Whopper (with a King Size order of fries). This is my lunch alot of days. But I can get away with it, because I WORK FOR A LIVING. Desk sitters and other sedentary lifesyle people can’t. By the way, my cholesterol , blood pressure, body weight and fat mass are all GOOD.

Why anyone would even want to contemplate eating that garbage is beyond me. Nobody needs to eat any of the junk in places like this, what’s worse is that they taste terrible too. When you eat proper food, you can instantly feel the sludge, salt and sugar in these things. I wouldn’t give it my dog!
